Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 20, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Nova Media Group LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating the Audited.io platform ("Platform," "Service"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website at audited.io or use our services.

Nova Media Group LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, with its principal place of business in Tampa, Florida.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional avatar image URL. Authentication is handled via email one-time passcode (OTP) — we do not collect or store passwords.

2.2 Organization Information

If you create or join an organization (company or agency mode), we collect the organization name, URL slug, operating mode, and member associations.

2.3 Domain & Audit Data

When you submit a website for auditing, we collect the domain URL, your preferred audit frequency, and feature preferences (such as AI presence boosting). The audit process generates and stores SEO crawl results, AI accessibility check results, LLM knowledge assessment data, AI-powered content analysis scores, and screenshots of the audited domain. This data is stored in association with your account.

2.4 Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We never receive, process, or store your full credit card number, debit card number, or bank account details. We store only Stripe customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, plan type, and billing period dates in order to manage your subscription status.

2.5 Cookies & Session Data

We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be opted out of while using the Service. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

2.6 Automatically Collected Information

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and access timestamps. This data is collected by the hosting infrastructure and is subject to Vercel's own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform
  • Perform SEO and AI visibility audits on domains you submit
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Communicate with you about your account, audits, or service updates
  • Improve and develop new features for the Platform
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with the following categories of third-party service providers solely to operate the Platform:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting, database storage, and application delivery.
  • Authentication providers — for secure email-based login and session management.
  • Stripe — for payment processing, subscriptions, and billing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
  • AI model providers — to perform LLM knowledge assessments and content analysis on domains you submit for auditing. The domain URL and publicly available content from that domain may be sent to these providers for analysis.
  • Web search services — used during AI-powered analysis to research domains you submit.
  • Font delivery services — when you load our pages, your browser may connect to third-party servers to fetch font files.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nova Media Group LLC, our users, or the public.

5. Our Web Crawler

When a user submits a domain for auditing, our crawler (identified by the user agent AuditedBot/1.0) accesses the target website's publicly available pages, including the homepage, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, ai.txt, and llms.txt. This crawling is limited in scope to the data needed for the audit and respects standard robots.txt directives.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Audit results and screenshots are retained to provide historical trend data. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted database connections (SSL/TLS), secure authentication via one-time passcodes, and encrypted payment processing through Stripe. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
  • Request portability of your data

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our servers and third-party service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
